The Faculty of Media, Arts and Communications will be opening its doors to the public at the end of May to showcase graduating student’s work, but rather than the standard exhibition format, the whole of Pittville Studios will become the canvas, with work being exhibited from all of the three areas, including a Multimedia Hub at the centre of the exhibition which will be showing multimedia work and include live performances throughout the Private View evening.

The Private View for the event will be on Friday 28th May from 6pm – 9pm. The event will then be open as follows:

Fine Art Painting & Drawing & Fine Art Photography opens daily to the public from Saturday 30th May – Friday 4th June between 10am – 4pm.

The whole exhibition is open daily to the public from Tuesday 1st June – Friday 4th June between 10am – 4pm

The door.

I am SICK of doors!

This is the final one, door 34.  Its oil on canvas, A0- ish, and a lot brighter and more detailed irl. I really do need to take a better picture… And theres a whole bunch more doors on my dA.

I was going to post more doors on my blog. But frankly, I’m too frustrated with them. Clicky the link!

Bah.

I’m also slowly and surely getting myonline portfolio together. I really do need to rephoto/scan half  of it, but you get the point. I’ll get there eventually. Its just a free daportfolio for now, I’ve yet to find anywhere better that isn’t covered in branding, and I’m unlikely to fill it all up anyway. Suggestions?

Istanbul

I is back.

It was good if you like being stalked, heckled, hard-sold EVERYTHING, attempted scams and the TOTAL weirdo in the park (I won’t go into that, gross)

Yeah…

I won’t be going again. Would’ve been nice without any people though.

Of course the over-enthusiastic girl in my class thought it was AMAZING!

And that the weirdo was because ‘they haven’t seen that type of thing before’ and we probably bought it on ourselves.

1. I only own one skirt, and the trip was strictly a baggy jeans and jacket sort of thing

2. They don’t live in a cave! They get millions of western tourists there every year. Alot wearing nothing more than bikinis in the summer… Even the TV presenters wore super-mini-dresses.

There is no excuse for THAT
