Buying Body Jewellery Online

14 Sep

Okay, well heres my nice big list of all the best places I know to find quality body jewellery online. It will be added to, when I find new places. Whether you have inch lobes, or just a nostril piercing. These places do everything… Stores marked with ‘*’  are my favourite places to order. They’ll have good selection, good quality, good site, and a fair price (for the most part). Look there first.

A little bit of everything For the basics, and when you want something more special

Aesthetics US based. Mainly plugs, and organics. Though some high quality other stuff too.

* Body Art Forms US based site that sells everything, from basics to $300 plugs. Fairly fast shipping even to the UK, and you get nice little free gifts, when you spend lots. And theres a good messageboard too.

* BJS UK based site that sells all the basics and a fair collection of flashier stuff too. Normally next-delivery in the UK, and free international shipping when you spend over £10. Also the nicest bod-mod forum I’ve been on. And they’ll answer any problems or questions you have. Good general discussion thread too.

Orgasmically pretty plugs from Onetribe

Pretty plugs from Onetribe. Don't spose anyones feeling generous?

* BMEShop US based. It has returned! Good selection of a little bit of everything. Good for organics dangly things and elusive niobium things. And one of the best (and few) US sites I know who sell needles.

Crazy Factory German-Thai based. As such orders can take quite a while.. Insanely cheap, though not great quality. Great for stretching or non-long term jewellery though.

Ear Gauges Despite the dodgy name they’re really pretty good, though selection has become a bit diminished at my size. Theres a forum too.

Kolopiercing US based. Gorgeous, high quality jewellery, mostly organics. But metals, glass and silicone too.

*Mega-Robot US based. Great place for Somatic septum mustaches, as well as lots of other stuff.

nine25ag US based, ebay seller. Worldwide shipping.

* Painful Pleasures Also sell wholesale. BUG PLUGS!! Cheap and cheerful, but they make a very very good effort for the prices. And they have a lot of Gorilla Glass preorder listings too.

Piercing.org US based. Threadless Titanium jewellery. Also sell retainers, and I’m pretty sure I saw them selling custom wood and plugs too, though the site is a bit hard to navigate ^-^” They also have pretty decent aftercare advice too.

PierceBody US based. Cheap

PierceItShop UK based. Good value and pretty good quality. Good for components and other tools. Large variety of reasonably priced needles too. Sell nearly everything (inc skin divers) Though some of the more unusual are of questionable qaulity.

* Steel Navel US based

Tribalectic US based

Zaya Body Jewellery US based, very cheap, and very acrylic.

Zedge Collectibles US based. Haven’t tried these yet, or had much of a look around. But they’re the only place I can find Howlite plugs, so I’m ready to give them a try. Fairly cheap too.

Manufacturers When you want something that little bit more special, custom,or when you’re having trouble finding the right sizes elsewhere.

Body Circle Designs US based, high quality

*Diablo organics US based Pretty pretty organics. Some of their one offs are breath-takinmake me wish I had smaller ears to wear humungous hangies in.

Evolve Mostly organics. But theres some amazing brass weights I have my eye on..

* Frozen Fire Etsy seller, US based. Plenty of dichro, galaxies and other pretties. Also makes custom.

* Glasswear Studios US based, Glass jewellery, unsurprisingly. Check out the dichro and the galaxies in particular.

Emblem Glass Etsy seller. I really love the lizards, but there is plenty of pretty lampworked glass.

Heart on Sleeve Burl!! Pretty organics, the heart cutouts are cute. Very reasonable price actually. And interesting blogs are always interesting. Lots of customs, with inlays and all sorts.

* Kaos Softwear US based. Silicone jewellery. The best in silicone, and earskins are wonderful.

LeRoi US based. High quality. Not the widest range of sizes, and the websites  pretty tricky. But it is good quality, and they have a good range of basics, belly jewellery and plugs.

Liquid Glass US based, high quality glass.

* Luciferins Just uber pretty glass. Available on BodyArtForms.com and SteelNavel.com. Also on my ‘to buy’ list. I want them so freaking bad.. Though premade 1″ don’t come in quite so many colours, and I’m always broke when preorders come around 😦

Mystic Metals Etsy. Some of the best picture inlaid resin plugs I’ve seen in ages. And all in steel eyelets too.

Omerica Organics I want a plug pouch, so expensive though :/ Luckily their plugs aren’t nearly so steep and are very pretty

* One Tribe US based (I think). Beautiful organic jewellery. Mostly plugs, but with limited stock. So act quickly. Although they will do custom orders. I love the Amazonite plugs, but I pansied around and missed them…

* Pauls Plugs US. Pretty pretty wood!

Quetzalli

* Quetzalli US based. More wonderful organics. I’m dying for those ammonites!!

* Reign Mostly custom jewellery, and very expensive, but oh so beautiful! Perfect for weddings or something similar.

Steve Haworth I want those razor weights so very much! Sells a lot of silicone for subdermals, and some transdermal etc.

* Tawapa US based. Beautiful high quality organics.

Wildcat UK based. Delivery takes ages, but its a fairly decent source for piercing needles without having me having to worry about customs.

Zen Cats UK based. Organic plugs. Pretty and fairly cheap.

Wholesale Only Though you can pick them all up at BodyArtForms & SteelNavel, and a few other places.

* Anatometal US based. Another very high quality company.     NOW SELLS RETAIL.

* Gorilla Glass US based. Sells glass, unsurprisingly. Great quality, look out for the dichro.

Hardass Glass Available on SteelNavel.com. I’m desperate for disappearing spirals!

* Industrial Strength US based, one of the best manufacturers. Expensive, but pretty much unrivaled in quality. And super shiny polished things too.

* Neometal US based. Of particular interest are the threadless pieces. Good for nostril piercings, though I’m not terribly sure how they work.

Painful Pleasures Also sell retail

2nd Hand and Trades

Its a much better, and cheaper option. Especially for autoclavable jewellery. And money-pressed people like myself.
Gaugetrade Livejournal community, US based mainly

* BJS Swappies UK based mainly

Your local piercing studios will also sell jewellery, but most of it can be overpriced, and there often isn’t a huge selection.
